Impact Factor Collection
Impact Factor rises above 6!
The European Journal of Endocrinology has achieved its highest impact factor for the fifth year in a row, and passed the 6.000 threshold for the first time. With a 2020 Impact Factor of 6.664, EJE has now climbed to 20th out of 145 journals in the Endocrinology and Metabolism category, standing above many of its broad-scoped, clinical focused competitors, reinforcing its reputation as a global leader for the highest quality research, reviews and guidelines in clinical and translational endocrinology
To celebrate the European Journal of Endocrinology's result the journal Editorial Team has compiled a collection of highly cited articles contributing to the latest Impact Factor.
We would like to thank the world-class editors, authors, reviewers and readers who have all helped EJE grow from strength to strength over recent years, to become a world-leading authority on all areas of clinical endocrinology. Particular thanks go to Editor-in-chief, Professor Wiebke Arlt, whose focus on high-quality, high-impact research from established and emerging areas of clinical endocrinology has facilitated the fantastic achievement of this year’s Impact Factor.
